This beautiful hand-sculpted pendant has a sliced agate stone and a small carnelian chip. Two dusty coral leaves and several vines hold the agate stone in place.
It is one of a kind and it's made with extra love. The details of the design are enhanced with black ink and shielded with protective water-based varnish.
It has an adjustable artificial suede cord and you will be able to tie it as long or short as you wish.
Agate has been used for healing amulets and ornaments since the Neolithic times. Theophrastus, a Greek philosopher and naturalist, named the stone after the river Achates (Greek: Αχάτης) where he first laid eyes upon it.
Carnelian is an orange-colored variety of Chalcedony and it's name derives from the Latin word "caro" meaning "flesh". Warriors used to wear carnelian stones for empowerment and courage and Ancient Egyptians used to call carnelian "The Setting Sun".
